WDP offers a housing-related support service that aims to connect service users with the most appropriate community resources by helping to achieve stable housing and aid recovery from drug and/or alcohol dependency.
We work seamlessly with our partners to enable service users at different stages of their recovery and at different stages of housing need to to support recovery and independence, prevent homelessness, help people achieve stable housing, as well as develop or sustain an individual’s capacity to live independently in accommodation.

As part of our work with those who come into contact with the criminal justice system, we aim to prevent service users entering a cycle of repeat or prolonged offending as well as drug and/or alcohol dependency, which can be exacerbated by a disconnection from the appropriate support services.
Our Supporting Herts service works in partnership with Druglink across Hertfordshie to support service users to prevent homelessness by helping to achieve stable housing and aid recovery from drug and/or alcohol dependency.
