Job role:

WDP HMP Woodhill is looking for an enthusiastic individual who has a passion to work in the field of substance misuse.

The Woodhill is based in HMP Woodhill Prison in Milton Keynes, providing an integrated substance misuse service to prisoners who are experiencing substance misuse problems, ensuring that they have access to the same quality of treatment as those in the community and enabling them to achieve their goals and aspirations of becoming drug and alcohol free.

The post holder will have experience in medicines management aswell as administration of controlled drugs.  The individual should demonstrate skills to ensure that the care delivered is specific and evidence based and adheres to service user’s needs as well as best practice guidelines.

Good communication skills, written and verbal are essential in addition to good time management and confidence to work collaboratively and cohesively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Obtaining Prison clearance and an enhanced DBS is essential for this role.
